Mail Box Troubles

I went to my mailbox this morning to get my mail and to put mail in the outgoing slot. The first bank of mailboxes was broken into on valle verde. I tried to call the post office to notify abs am having issues getting through the phone tree. Just wanted to let you know if you had mail in your mailbox like I did and anything in the outgoing mail slot.
